Thursday, 06 Aug 2009 ~ Posted by Mook in Ask Mook

Reception here is poor. yesterday’s moto GP was like like watching a snowstorm, due to the rain. enough. Looking at a Humax HD Freesat recording receiver, Panasonic TXL32 S10 telly. Not got any cinema sound, stereo output into Technics amp and Quad speakers, the sound is quite good. Used to have a Dolby processor many moons ago (running from VHS lol), 5.1 maybe…..don’t like too much ‘clutter’ though. Anyhooooow, would like a 37inch screen, but dont want it dominate the room, as it aint that big. If I get the 32, that little bit of me will be nagging, should have got the 37….only 50quid more. Hmmmmm. aerial company coming round wednesday for quote (I want the dish on the chimney.)

Can I use an indoor aerial on my new digital television?
I’m worried about switching to digital. My current television currently gets 5 channels and some of my friends have ‘gone digital’ and say they have loads of great channels. I’m interested in upgrading but I’m worried about the cost and how I’m going to be able to set it all up and learn how to use it. Can you give me some advice?
