As a local shop,  we have, over the years, met and formed relationships with a number of Tradesmen who mirror our levels of Customer service and take pride in their work.  We have never had any “In-House” tradesmen so It means we have to rely on outside companies.  Below is a list of people we recommend, entirely unconnected with the shop,  meaning you get piece of mind that you are not going to be taken for a ride.

Appliance Works – 07865 058 560 -  www.applianceworks.uk.com – Run by Laurence Gilder, Appliance works offer a repair service to all kitchen appliances and a comprehensive Computer repair service.  He has NO call out charge meaning every job he quotes for is legitimate and you wont pay for him to just ring your doorbell.

Gas installation/Plumbing

Cast Plumbing Services – 07989 430789 – Run by Steve Loveday,  CAST is a small CORGI/Gas Safe registered business.  Any job from a leaking tap to a whole central heating system,  Steve is reliable, reasonable and a tidy worker.  A hell of a lot safer than picking a name out of the Yellow pages.

Electrician

Ultra Electrics – 0845 6034006 – www.ultraelectrics.co.uk -  Ryan Elliott has been our preferred electrician for a number of years now.  His polite nature, tidy work ethic and reasonable pricing makes him a pleasure to deal with.  The 0845 Number will get him wherever he is,  on a job or in the office.  highly recommended.

Aerial and Sattellite installation

Parkview Aerials – 07973 601035 – Run by Kevin Cox, Parkview are a godsend.  Having had lousy Aerial guys in the past,  we have been dealing with Kevin for nearly 4 years now and have NEVER had a complaint.  He knows the area well so will get the best signal possible,  and won’t stripe you up for a whole new system if all you need is a wire or have a bad connection.  With Digital coming, he deserves to be kept busy.

TV Repairs

Armstrong HiFi Video Services – 020 8523 0023 – Amstrongs are the ONLY Authorised repair agents  for the major television brands.  If they can’t help you,  nobody can.

Wool and Crafts

J.J. wool & Crafts – 020 8523 7172 – www.jjwoolandcrafts.co.uk – Ok,  so this is my Wife’s shop BUT,  they do stock a huge range of Wool, patterns and needles as well as card making cross stitch and a huge range of Haberdashery.  They’ve also just launched their brand new online store!
