Seriously, for the first time in 16 years, Waltham Forest Council are doing something that actually benefits shoppers and shop keepers in Station road.
From Monday 27th June, the parking system will be alterered as follows:
Free Parking before 10am
Free Parking after 4pm
15 mins Free Parking between 10am and 4pm.
Rates will (for the moment no doubt) remain at 50p per half hour and £1 per hour.
So, for the first time ever you can come to Chingford without worrying about over Zealous Wardens.
