We’ve just taken delivery of this autumns portable heating. We’ve got a few options for various different heating solutions.
First up we have Fan heaters. Obviously not as energy efficient as other forms of heating, these are popular due to the instant heat they produce. We have 2kw and 3kw variants, both from Glen Dimplex. These are ideal for quickly heating a room for immediate use, but not suited to being left unattended.
Both models have 2 speed settings, and a “fan only” option. In addition to this they both have an adjustable thermostat. Prices Start from £19.99

Next we have the Glen Dimplex Convector heater. Again 2kw with adjustable thermostat. The advantage of convectors is they are totally silent when running, and don’t create draughts like a fan heater can. The down side is they will take slightly longer to warm a room. However a great idea for small rooms and emergency back up. Prices start from £24.99

The best form of portable heating in the home are oil filled radiators. These are by far the most energy efficient form of heating, due to the heat retaining qualities of the oil they contain. Not that you’d ever know about the oil. They are completely sealed units and have no maintenance whatsoever. They also have 10 years guarantees!
The beauty of an oil filled radiator is the ability to leave it running on an almost permanent basis, and not have to worry. They contain no incandescent or exposed elements, and therefore pose no fire risk. The units have various heat settings, as well as a thermostat. The fact that the oil they contain retains heat so well, means that they can still give off heat after they have turned off on the thermostat. This means you get maximum heat output for minimum cost. Prices start from £59.99 for the Delonghi models, or our budget range starts from £34.99

In addition to these portable heaters, we keep a wide range of Electric blankets, including Single, double and King size and all blankets have a 3 year warranty and are machine washable. Prices start from £19.99
Of course the range of heating we can supply is hugely diverse. WE can special order Decorative fires. Coal and log effect, wall mounted and freestanding. We can supply a range of Storage heaters from Dimplex, Creda and heatstore.
We keep bathroom heating in store, including wall mounted fan heaters and infra red bars.
Whatever your electric heating needs, give us a call or pop in to pick up a catalouge and some free advice.
