How do I re-tune my Toshiba WLT series Television?
Wednesday, 30 Sep 2009 ~ Posted by Mook
WLT-SERIES TOSHIBA TV;
1) Turn on the TV and look at a Freeview channel.
2) Press MENU on the remote control.
3) A large blue box will appear on the screen. At the top, there should be the word “Setup”. Halfway down, you should see the words “Auto Tuning”. Press the down arrow button on your remote control until the words “Auto Tuning” are lit up in yellow.
4) Now press the OK button on your remote.
6) It will say “All channels will be lost!” on the screen. Underneath will be a box, hopefully saying “Yes”. If so, press the OK button. However, if the box says “No”, press the left-hand arrow button until the word “Yes” is lit in yellow. Now you can press the OK button.
7) The set will now retune itself. This takes about 3 minutes, so leave well alone, and when it’s finished it will take you back to BBC1. That’s it!
Remember to keep these instructions safe. You will have to do this several more times over the next few years due to the digital switchover.
