How do I re-tune my Toshiba AV-series Television?

AV-SERIES TOSHIBA TV;

1)    Turn on the TV and look at a Freeview channel.

2)    Press MENU on the remote control.

3)    A box will appear on the screen. At the top, there should be a number of symbols, one of which looks like a cog. Press the right-hand arrow button on your remote control until the cog is lit up in a greeny-yellow colour.

4)    Now, underneath the cog, a list will appear. About halfway down is the word “Channels”. Press the down arrow button on your remote control until “Channels” is lit up in greeny-yellow. Press the OK button on your remote.

5)    At the top of the box, the words “Auto Setup” will be lit in greeny-yellow. Press OK.

6)    It will say “All channels will be lost!” Underneath will be two boxes, one saying “Yes” and one saying “No”. Press the left-hand arrow button until the word “Yes” is lit in greeny-yellow. Press OK.

7)    The set will now retune itself. This takes about 3 minutes, so leave well alone, and when it’s finished it will take you back to BBC1. That’s it!

Remember to keep these instructions safe. You will have to do this several more times over the next few years due to the digital switchover.
